Meet your instructor Alice. Street Artist.

Alice Pasquini is an internationally renowned Italian artist known for her street art, illustration, and scenography. Her works have appeared in over 100 cities worldwide, transforming urban spaces with murals that capture everyday moments and human connections. She studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and holds a Master’s in Art Criticism from the Complutense University of Madrid, bringing her unique, narrative style to a global audience. Since 2016, she has directed the CVTà Street Fest in Civitacampomarano, using art to revitalize the historic village. In 2024, she was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, further cementing her significant impact on the contemporary art scene.

I created this course to introduce artists and enthusiasts to the world of stencils. While stencil techniques may seem complex at first, breaking down the process into manageable steps makes it accessible and rewarding.

This course is designed to help you master the essentials—from choosing the right materials to cutting and layering stencils—allowing you to create impactful and unique pieces.

By the end, I want you to feel confident using stencils to bring your artistic vision to life in public spaces, transforming everyday walls into powerful expressions of creativity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, Alice breaks down the entire process step-by-step so even beginners can follow along. Cutting stencils does take some practice, but is also easy enough for anyone to learn.

No. While Alice will go over the basics of how to create stencil levels in Photoshop, the majority of the class focuses on hand-cutting stencils and recognizing shapes to cut without the use of computer technology. 


If you don't wish to use spraypaint, Alice will also demonstrate stenciling using acrylic paint, sponges, and small rollers.

When using spraypaint, it is important to work in an open or well-ventilated area. Please always use a respirator designed for use with paint, such as this model by 3M when working with spraypaint. Gloves are also recommended. If you prefer to work indoors, we suggest working with a water-based spraypaint such as those made by MTN

If you don't wish to use spraypaint, Alice will also demonstrate stenciling using acrylic paint, sponges, and small rollers.

  • Acetate sheets or durable cardstock for creating custom stencils
  • X-acto knife or similar with #11 blade
  • Cutting matt
  • Spray paint or acrylic paint in multiple colors
  • Paper or poster board for final project
  • Pre-cut Stencils: A variety of stencils, including figurative, lettering, and decorative options. (Optional)
  • Rags or paper towels for cleanup
  • Protective gear (if using spraypaint): Respirator and gloves
  • Brushes or sponges (if using acrylic paint) to apply decorative effect to stencils (optional)
  • Photoshop or similar program (optional)
