Meet your instructor Victoria. Botanical Artist.
Victoria Beyer is a South American artist based in Germany. She is trained as a botanical artist specializing in watercolors. She has had her work exhibited in worldwide art exhibitions like "Ellas ilustran botanica", ABA “A Botanical Showcase”, and belongs to the American Society of botanical artists and the Organisation of illustrators in Germany. She teaches botanical watercolor art and works on private art commissions.
My course is for those artists and beginners who struggle with how watercolor behaves. It contains all the essential techniques plus two final projects to get acquainted with different approaches when painting different subjects.
By the end of the course, students will know how to control watercolors and water pigment ratios, how to mix colors and make balanced compositions, what are the most appropriate materials for them at their stage, and of course, they will learn to use all fundamental techniques that every watercolor artist uses.
