Meet your instructor Megan. Painter .

Megan Elizabeth is an artist living and working just outside of Washington, DC. Megan is inspired by fleeting moments in nature, sunrises, sunsets and dappled light. Her work is elegant, refined, organic and relaxing. Megan's work has been featured in Apartment Therapy, Brit and Co, Anthropologie, Designlovefest and is available at several galleries worldwide.

I created this course to help aspiring abstract painters become more confident in their skills .

I want students to realize that inspiration and confidence can turn an ordinary painting into a thoughtful and beautiful work of art.

By the end of this course, my students will feel like they have tried a new technique with their acrylic paints and also learned to keep trying and looking around for daily sources of artistic inspiration. They will also learn that experimentation is vital to the creative process so enjoying the act of painting is just as important as the outcome!
