Meet your instructor Anna. Pressed Flower Artist.

Artist Anna Zakirova has been in love with nature and drawing ever since she was a young girl. When she became an adult, she ventured into a completely different career as a journalist and copywriter; but the urge to make art never left.

Five years ago, she began growing and drying flowers—often taking long walks where she'd pick and then dry the flowers. Interested in how to keep their color and beauty, she started pressing them. From there, she began making pressed flower compositions which allowed her to showcase their delicate features even more.

As her passion for flower pressing grew, her compositions became more complicated and she began selling her one-of-a-kind pieces in stained glass and conventional frames.

I created this course to help nature lovers savor their favorite flowers by picking and pressing them and arranging the florals in new and exciting ways.

Everyone who starts drying and pressing flowers notices how doing so brings us closer to nature.

The creation of botanical compositions is like meditation; it calms the body and soul and gives the joy of communicating with nature and creating beauty.

Anna Zokoriova is great, slow speaking and very clear to understand. I can't think of anything to improve the presentation. Well thought out and an excellent course.
